Rae Line 185 XS Extended Swim Platform Pods

This customer came to us looking for custom extended swim platform pods for their 185 XS. We carried out a full mold set-up for the platforms and pods, followed by the complete demolding, cutting, and trimming process to ensure a perfect fit to the hull.

The installation required full disassembly of the tow eyes, ski pole, swim ladder, and sections of the Rub Rail. The pods were then carefully mocked up and adjusted to achieve the correct fit and positioning. Once the placement was finalised, the pods were permanently fitted using adhesive and sealant.

To complete the upgrade, new U-Dek flooring was supplied and fitted for a clean, premium finish. The boat was then fully reassembled with new rub rail sections installed, leaving this 185 XS ready to hit the water.
